§ Mr. Juddasked the Minister of Overseas Development what budgetary and development aid will be made available to Botswana by Her Majesty's Government in the financial year 1969–70.
§ Mr. PrenticeFollowing financial talks in London, the British Government have agreed, subject to the approval of Parliament, to make available to the Government of Botswana a budgetary grant of up to £3.73 million and a development grant of up to £1.17 million in the financial year 1969–70. This aid is being provided within the framework of the British Government's offer announced in August, 1966, of budgetary and development aid for the 3-year period beginning 1st April, 1967.
