§ Mr. CrossmanI am advised that there are no good grounds for any doctor to prescribe amphetamine in powdered form. My Department is discussing with the medical and pharmaceutical profession ways of preventing such misuse: in the meantime I welcome the action taken by the Council of the Pharmaceutical Society in advising all pharmacists to refuse to dispense prescriptions for amphetamine sulphate powder.
