§ Mr. John Lee

asked the Minister of Housing and Local Government (1) what was the capital value of all local authority-owned land and buildings sold to private persons and companies during 1968; what was the total acreage involved; and what were the corresponding figures for 1965;

(2) what was the total number of compulsory purchase orders effected by local authorities in England and Wales in 1968; what was the total capital value of land thus purchased; and what were the corresponding figures for 1965 and 1967.
