§ Mr. RossBrucellosis is not a notifiable disease, and comprehensive figures of its incidence are not available. Three hundred and twenty-five cases giving presumptive evidence of the disease were, however, diagnosed by Scottish laboratories in the five hospital regions between 1st January, 1968, and 4th January, 1969, as follows:
