§ Mr. Buckasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what steps he proposes to take to provide for the enforcement of maintenance orders made with respect to persons who take up residence abroad.
§ Mr. Elystan MorganThe Maintenance Orders (Facilities for Enforcement) Act, 1920, provides for the enforcement in Commonwealth countries of maintenance orders made in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Consideration is being given to the possibility of amending legislation extending these provisions to other countries abroad.
