  1. 1. The cost of the advertising contract incurred by the G.P.O. on the telephone service for each of the financial years 1966–69;
  2. 2. The estimated increase or decrease of revenue since their campaign to promote the use of the classified directory.

  1. 1. 1966–67—£86,395. 1967–68—£300,000 1968–69—£963,350 (estimated).
  2. 2. The campaign to promote the use of classified directories has been running for insufficient time to evaluate the effects.
