§ 52. Mr. Albuasked the President of the Board of Trade whether arrangements for a loan to the Cunard Company made in 1963 under the Shipbuilding Credit Act, 1964, included conditions as to the design of the ship or its propulsion machinery or the yard in which it was to be built.
§ Mr. DellAs with all loans offered under this Act the general specification was approved but no conditions were placed on the design of the ship or its propulsion machinery. Exceptionally in this case the company was required to invite tenders from all suitable British yards.
