Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he is aware that on appointment the Chairman of the Horserace Betting Levy Board received a salary 20 per cent. higher than his predecessor and that this is to be increased from £4,800 a year to £6,000 a year; and whether he will refer this matter to the National Board for Prices and Incomes.
