§ 52. Mr. Peter M. Jacksonasked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether he will exercise the reserve powers contained in Section 1 of the National Health Service (Family Planning) Act, 1967, to ensure that the borough of Brent provides an adequate family planning service in accordance with the terms of the above Act.
§ Mr. CrossmanThe council has increased the local facilities substantially since the Act came into force and is considering further expansion. I do not think it would be justifiable to act as my hon. Friend suggests.
