The following is the information relating to those areas currently defined as special development areas:

general practitioners to discuss their prescribing costs.

Mr. Crossman

Fifty-two regional medical officers spend part of their time visiting general practitioners to discuss prescribing costs. Two are paid a salary of £4,950 a year and 50 are on a salary scale of £3,635 to £4,280.
