§ Mr. Godman Irvineasked the Secretary of State for Defence if he will give an analysis of the action taken on all the 746 representations in respect of low flying by military aircraft received during the last 12 months.
§ Mr. BoydenAll representations were checked against the records of low flying sorties and in 43 cases full-scale on-site investigations were undertaken. Full replies were sent to all representations. 188 claims for compensation were received during the same period of which 33 were accepted by the Department at a cost of £1,051, 13 were rejected, 15 were not pursued and 127 are being processed.
§ Mr. Godman Irvineasked the Secretary of State for Defence in how many of the three cases of complaints about low flying in which disciplinary action was taken during the last 12 months was damage to property or loss of life either of human beings or livestock involved.
