§ 61. Mr. Dalyellasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether he will make a statement on the official visit to Indonesia of the Minister of State at the Foreign Office.
§ Mr. FoleyMy right hon. and noble Friend visited Indonesia at the invitation of the Indonesian Government from 9th to 17th June. The purpose of his visit was to strengthen our relations with that country, which are already close and cordial, and to exchange views. He had the honour of being received by President Suharto. He had frank and informative discussions with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cabinet Ministers and Parliamentary, political and military leaders.
