§ Mr. Maurice Macmillanasked the President of the Board of Trade what was the size of the error in the recorded export figures due to traders not making declarations and traders entering carriage, insurance, freight values instead of free on board values, respectively.
§ Mr. DellThe error due to under-recording is probably within the range of 3 to 4 per cent.; that due to overvaluation is about 1 per cent. These estimates are still under examination.
