§ Mr. Joseph Slater1,355 people have shared lines. There are 23 on the waiting list. Most of these will be given service within three or four months, when new cables will be available. The majority of orders will continue to be accepted on demand and the remainder with only short delay. The number of shared service lines is expected to increase slowly.
