§ Mr. Bruce-Gardyneasked the Secretary of State for Scotland (1) how many teachers currently employed by the education authorities for the cities of Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee and Aberdeen, respectively, have failed to re-register with the General Teaching Council since 1st April; and if he will give an undertaking that no action will be taken against such teachers;
(2) how many teachers currently employed by the education authorities of the counties of Berwickshire, Roxburgh, Selkirk, and Peebles, respectively, have 176W failed to re-register with the General Teaching Council since 1st April; and if he will give an undertaking that no action will be taken against them.
