§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for Employment and Productivity whether she is aware that some nationalised industries charge their customers a fee if a request is made for a detailed explanation of an invoice; and, in view of the inflationary effect of this, contrary to the Government's prices and incomes policy, whether she will cause an investigation to be made with a view to stopping this practice.
§ Mr. HattersleyI am not aware that such a charge is generally made by nationalised industries, and I see no need for a special investigation.
