§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Postmaster-General whether he is aware that the General Post Office Telephone Service charge 2s. if a customer requests a detailed statement of a bill for trunk call charges, etc.; and whether he will refer this to the National Board for Prices and Incomes.
§ Mr. StonehouseAll bills already show the date of trunk calls made via the operator. The charge is made only when a customer wants regularly particulars of the numbers called. This involves us in extra work. The charge made does not cover the cost of providing the information.
