§ Mr. Oakesasked the President of the Board of Trade what representations he has now received on a reduction of the 20 per cent. tariff on boneless meat; by what organisations have these been made; what discussions he has held; and what replies he has sent.
§ Mr. DellI have received a wide range of views from overseas Governments and from many Trade Associations, firms and other bodies at home and overseas. Discussions are still continuing with those who have requested them. As I told my hon. Friend on 14th May, an announcement will be made as soon as possible.
