§ Mr. WhitlockWe are constantly on the watch for an opportunity to help in any way we can to bring about peace talks. Our willingness to do this is known to both sides as well as to the Emperor of Ethiopia, whose efforts as Chairman of the Organisation of African Unity's Committee on Nigeria to promote a peaceful settlement have our full support.
