§ Mr. BuchanThe number of farm workers—excluding occupiers—at June 1968 was 50,245, of whom 40,544 were regular full-time, 4,987 regular part-time and 4,714 casual and seasonal. In addition, it is estimated that there were about 49,000 working occupiers of whom more than half were on part-time holdings.
