§ Mr. RossThis survey forms part of the wider survey carried out by the Council of Scottish Chambers of Commerce. The Government are taking account of it in their assessment of the effects of British Standard Time during the past winter. I258W hope that it will be possible before long to announce the result.
§ Mr. MacArthurasked the Secretary of State for Scotland when he will complete his consideration of the representations made to him by the National Farmers' Union of Scotland about British Standard Time.
§ Mr. RossThe representations by the National Farmers' Union of Scotland are being taken fully into account in our interim assessment of the general effects of the British Standard Time experiment. An announcement on the result of the assessment will be made as soon as possible.
