asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer (1) approximately what percentage of the 3 million foreigners who visited the United Kingdom in 1968 paid duty on goods they brought with them; and what was the approximate amount of duty so paid;

(2) approximately what percentage of the 1,900,000 citizens of Western European countries who visited the United Kingdom in 1968 paid duty on goods they brought with them; and what was the approximately amount of duty so paid;

(3) approximately what percentage of the 900,000 citizens of the United States of America who visited the United Kingdom in 1968 paid duty on goods they brought with them; and what was the approximate amount of duty so paid paid.
