asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what was the value of Government purchases, in the most recent year for which figures are available, broken down by purchasing Departments, of aircraft, aerospace products and electronic equipment, food and drink, clothing and textiles, stationery and office machinery and other equipment, medical equipment and drugs, vehicles, buildings, furniture, furnishings and domestic equipment and petroleum products; and what percentage of each was for the use of the purchasing Ministry.
