§ Mr. Eldon Griffithsasked the Minister of Technology if he will list the development contracts which have been given to British companies from public funds during the last five years for the development of hardware for micro-filming operations, indicating the amount of each contract and whether or not it has resulted in new equipment being sold commercially by the companies concerned.
§ Mr. BennThe Ministry of Technology has contributed £6.000 towards the development cost of a computer output plotter which will produce microfilms This equipment is still under development.
The National Research Development Corporation has supported a group of companies in the development of a range of micro-filming hardware, which is now being sold commercially.
