§ 52. Mr. Graham Pageasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government whether he will give an assurance that his powers to reject council house rent proposals will be allowed automatically to lapse at the end of this year and that he will not seek any further powers enabling him to interfere in this aspect of local authority affairs.
