asked the Minister of Transport if he will now give statistics of the age groups of drivers of motor vehicles with the heaviest casualty and death rates on the roads in motor accidents related to the number of drivers in each age group.

On the basis of these figures it will be seen that drivers and riders in the group aged under 21 had the highest fatal and serious casualty rate.

Estimated number of fatal and serious casualties per ten thousand driving licence holders: 1968.
