§ Mr. MillanCharges recovered from patients who had incorrectly obtained exemption amount to £165 for the period to 31st May. It is estimated from returns by Executive Councils that the equivalent of approximately five officers and eleven clerical staff is employed full time on checking entitlement to exemption from charges.
