§ Mr. Juddasked the Minister of Overseas Development whether he will publish in the OFFICIAL REPORT details of export credits for military purchases allowed as part of British overseas aid and development programmes in each of the past five years.
§ Mr. PrenticeExport credits for military purposes are not part of the official aid programme but have been included by the United Kingdom in private aid 137W flows, in accordance with the D.A.C. reporting system. Prior to 1966–67 they were not separately recorded but are not thought to have been significant in relation to the U.N.C.T.A.D. volume target. Since then net flows of officially guaranteed private export credits for military purposes have been as follows:
