Mr. Bruce-Gardyneasked the Prime Minister if he will ensure that full details of any new contract of employment between Her Majesty's Government and the Chairman of the National Board for Prices and Incomes are published in the OFFICIAL REPORT; and if he will undertake that no obligations are entered into in such a contract which would involve the payment of compensation from public funds in the event of the termination of Mr. Jones' present employment before the completion of such a contract
§ The Prime MinisterThe terms of any new contract would be announced in the usual way. In the event of termination of an appointment of this kind before completion of the contract, compensation would be considered in accordance with the normal practice.
