Mr. Orbachasked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether, in view of the health hazards to employees in pathological and research laboratories in hospitals resulting in a short life expectancy among such laboratory technicians, he will arrange for a statistical examination of the health history of these persons.
§ Mr. CrossmanIn the absence of evidence that there are health hazards which result in a short life expectancy for laboratory technicians I should not feel justified in singling them out for special statistical enquiry.
