§ Dr. John Dunwoodyasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what evidence he has of the illegal importation of Chinese heroin.
§ Mr. CallaghanI have been notified by H.M. Customs and Excise of two seizures this year of heroin from Hong Kong seamen, the total amount involved being just over 2,000 grains. In addition, the police have reported 34 cases of persons arrested in possession of heroin not licitly manufactured in this country.
