§ Mr. Dempseyasked the Secretary of State for Scotland how many houses were built by the Scottish Special Housing Association in each of the local authority areas in Lanarkshire during each of the last three years; what is his estimate of the numbers to be built in the next three years; and what these figures represent as a percentage of the housing programme of each of the authorities concerned.
§ Mr. RossFigures for houses completed in the last three years are given in the table below. I cannot give precise estimates for the next three years, but the association has substantial projects in hand or in prospect, mainly in the landward area of Lanarkshire, for economic growth, and in Glasgow for general needs in discharge of outstanding commitments.
