asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what action the Government have taken on Resolution 69(6) adopted on 7th March. 1969, by the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe and relating to cinema and the protection of youth.

Although the United Kingdom is not a party to the Resolution, the report referred to in it has been made available to the public. The hon. Member will be aware that an annual grant is made from the British Film Fund, with the approval of the Board of Trade, to the Children's Film Foundation, which makes films especially for children.
