Whether they will publish figures for each year since 1955, showing—

  1. 1. The number of immigrants to, and emigrants from, the United Kingdom;
  2. 2. The number of coloured immigrants;
  3. 3. The proportion of the population of the United Kingdom aged between 20 and 44;
  4. 4. The proportion of coloured immigrants aged between 20 and 44.

1. These are estimated figures derived from the International Passenger Survey. For the purpose of this Survey the international definition is adopted of a migrant as a person intending to spend at least one year in or out of this country.

2. "New Commonwealth" means all Commonwealth Countries other than Australia, Canada and New Zealand.

3. Figures include all Commonwealth citizens, aliens and citizens of the Irish Republic.

4. This figure includes United Kingdom passport holders from East Africa.
