§ 55. Mr. James Johnsonasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will make a statement regarding the results of developments by the White Fish Authority of a fish-gutting machine at sea.
§ Mr. HoyThe White Fish Authority is to be congratulated on its success in developing this invention. It achieves a higher standard, as well as much greater speed, than hand-gutting. It is expected to increase productivity and reduce fatigue amongst fishermen, and improve the quality of fish reaching the consumer.
