§ Mr. RossThe figures for December. 1968, were as follows:
Education authorities Primary schools 52 Secondary schools 654 Further education establishments 1,055 Grant-aided establishments Primary schools 1 Secondary schools 6 Further education establishments 616 The figures for schools include special schools, and are for teachers who were neither registered, conditionally registered nor certificated.
Registration is not a condition of employment in further education. The further education figures include conditionally registered teachers.
