§ Mr. Edward ShortI have read the summary of this Report, which was commissioned by the National Dairy Council. It is based on questions asked of a very small number of children in different parts of London and I should hesitate to accept that its deductions can be applied to school children generally. If however, the authors of the Report are prepared to let me have the names of the schools and children I will approach the authorities concerned to see what follow-up is possible. Meanwhile I prefer to wait the result of the investigations into child nutrition, at present being carried out for my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Health and Social Security by his Chief Medical Officer's Committee on the Medical Aspects of Nutrition.
