§ Mr. Denis HowellI have made it clear that I am in favour of the joint use of school sports facilities under proper conditions. In recent years projects designed for this purpose have been approved in a number of areas, particularly Cumberland, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire and Shropshire. I shall consider sympathetically any further schemes submitted to me by local education authorities including the Inner London Education Authority.
