§ Mr. K. RobinsonRepresentatives of both sides of the industry met officials of the Department on Wednesday 22nd January to discuss their recent pay settlement for manual workers.
It is not yet clear whether the settlement can be justified under the Government's incomes policy, but the industry have undertaken to provide certain additional information relating to productivity to enable the matter to be further considered.
