§ Mrs. Ewingasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will take steps to control the sale of animals known to be excretors of brucella abortus, in view of their potential danger to public health and their hindrance to the Accreditation Scheme.
§ Mr. RossThe identification of active excretors and control over their movements raise formidable problems beyond the scope of the Brucellosis (Accredited Herds) Scheme. I am considering these, but see no early prospect of their solution.
