§ Mr. Dalyellasked the Secretary of State for Defence what is the value of his Department's grants to Herriot-Watt University, Edinburgh; and if he will give details of the purposes for which the grants are given.
§ Mr. ReynoldsThere is at present one defence contract with the Herriot-Watt University, the total value of which is estimated at £4,500. This is for the study of factors which govern the formation of water particles during steam generation and methods for the elimination of water from steam.
