§ Mr. HoyThe potato acreage quota is fixed not by my right hon. Friend but by the Potato Marketing Board and, to comply with the Potato Marketing Scheme, must be determined by 31st December before the year of planting. I would refer the hon. Member to the reply I gave earlier today to the hon. Member for Westmorland (Mr. Jopling).
