HL Deb 21 January 1969 vol 298 c922WA
LORD FERRIER

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether it is fact that some primary school children who arrive by the Carmichael School bus at Lanark Primary and whose school time has been advanced because of the introduction of B.S.T. (whereas the secondary school timetable has not been altered) have to wait in the open playground for a period which may extend to 20 minutes before being admitted to the shelter of the school.

LORD HUGHES

I understand that the children from Carmichael attending Lanark Primary School, and any other pupils who arrive early, are being allowed to enter the school building.

House adjourned at four minutes before four o'clock.
