HC Deb 20 January 1969 vol 776 c24W
69. Mr. William Hamilton

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what steps have been taken to stop the flying of the flag of the illegal Government of Rhodesia.

Mr. George Thomson

I have been asked to reply.

I am advised that, though the flag has itself no legal validity, there is nothing in our law which makes it an offence to fly it.
