asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer how much duty was raised on imported timber and processed timber during 1968.

Import duty of £4.489 million net was paid in 1968 on the goods falling within Chapter 44 of the Customs and Excise Tariff (wood and articles of wood; wood charcoal).
