HC Deb 26 February 1969 vol 778 c308W
Mr. Dalyell

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will give details of the information regarding costs made available by West Lothian County Council to his Department of the playing fields of St. Columba's Roman Catholic Primary School, Bathgate.

Mr. Ross

The estimated cost of the playing field submitted in 1964 was £3,092. In 1967, after the school had been opened it became clear that additional work would be needed because of difficult conditions encountered in part of the playing field. I understand that this work was later undertaken at a cost of about £1,800.

Mr. Dalyell

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland on what dates since the opening of the school have Her Majesty's inspectors visited St. Columba's Roman Catholic Primary School in Bathgate.

Mr. Ross

Once, on 20th February, 1968.
