HC Deb 26 February 1969 vol 778 c297W
55. Mr. David Howell

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what proposals for grant aid have so far been made to him by the Thames Conservancy following their investigation of means for reducing the flood danger from the River Wey at Guildford and Shalford; and whether he will make a statement.

Mr. John Mackie

I understand that the report of the consulting engineers is unlikely to be ready before June. No doubt the Thames Conservancy will wish to study the report carefully before reaching any decisions or submitting proposals for grant aid.
