HC Deb 26 February 1969 vol 778 c328W
Dr. John Dunwoody

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will instruct Her Majesty's Government's directors to propose that the British Petroleum Company should use British ship-repair yards for repair and maintenance work to its tankers.

Mr. Diamond

It is not the practice of Her Majesty's Government to intervene in the commercial activities of the British Petroleum Company.
