§ Mrs. Lena Jegerasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government what representations he has received in connection with the preservation of Woburn Square, Bloomsbury; and what action he proposes to take to prevent the demolition of houses in this square.
§ Mr. GreenwoodOutline planning permission for the redevelopment of Woburn Square was given by the London County Council in 1965 and approval of details by the G.L.C. last year. I have recently received a number of representations in favour of preservation, including a petition from my hon. Friend and one from students of London University. I have also noted the report of the decision of Convocation last Thursday and I am considering the matter.
