Mr. Cleggasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will circulate in the OFFICIAL REPORT a table, from information available to him from international sources, showing the ratio, expressed in percentage form, of personal saving to personal disposable income, taking a uniform basis for the derivation of these figures, both as an average over the years 1957 to 1966, and for the year 1966 alone, for Japan, Italy, West Germany, Sweden, France, Canada, the United States of America, and the United Kingdom.
